Wow, I'm also 19. That seems to be the popular number here. And age really isn't a limitation, only if you let it be. If you click on the persons name and they put their birthday in then you can see it I believe.

Hmmm...it seems we have a larger proportion of the older generation here than the rest of NS. Which is cool with me. I actually tend to get along better with older people (except romantically), I can't seem to find many people in my own age group who are mature enough to be good friends with. :huh

kinda the same with me...i actually date girls that are younger, but not *that* young. my cutoff is 2 grades below mine. so if i'm a freshman in college, juniors in high school are ok but thats as low as i go.

what the heck were we talking about before i started rambling? i think i was sharing an opinion after reading sam's last post...

Ain't gonna say my exact age, but I remember when "Cool Inside" signs meant a store done went n' bought one a them new fancy air conditioners. Shame there weren't no TVs so we could sit back n' enjoy the cold air a spell. :huh

'49 was a good year. Thaat was the year Truman, who was a sensible American Democrat came to visit Texas. Now I say sensible Democrat 'cause he had enough sense not to go ridin' around Dallas in a convertible like that other feller did. Any Democrat that rides around Dallas in a convertible oughta at last get a Darwin Award nomination!

Don't make it worse that it is, Augustus.

49 is my age, not my birth year. :balloons

Jez, if you are 19-22 you were born when Ronald Reagan was President. During the Iran hostage crisis you were still a twinkle in yer daddy's eye, n' never saw the Beatles play together live.

If you are 31 that means Ford was President when you were born and you have no recollection of the Viet-Nam war or the Nixon years. You missed...our possibly could be a product of, the "Summer of Love".

If you are 41 the Korean War and the "Red Scare" is something for history books. JFK was president, but you don't remember his assination, when you were born and Elvis was wearing asn Army uniform in Germany about that time.

If you are 48-49 Truman or Eisenhower was President. World War II was long over when you were born and the shoock of the Soviets denonating the atomic bomb was before your time.

Well, I for one, still miss William Jennings Bryan...he was a hoot!
