Everyone had at least one pet rock when I was a kid.

Here's a litter of baby pet rocks

cute eh ??!??

They are hard to train to roll over on command , or to play fetch with.
They are very clean and easy to look after , and cheap to keep.

We were too poor to buy a pet rock so I had to find one in the wild :rotfl:

She is as docile as you could imagine. A chap can pick her up and she flat out lays there. Never grumpy. Will not bite.
She likes to have a go at the wax worms and the superworms.
She'll get after some crickets but they stink and die quickly during their keep. Shes a beauty.

She doesn't display her threat stance then ?

No she is docile as a kitten

Yeah, kitten's are really docile. Played with one the other day over at my nephew's. My hands look like Freddy Krueger's right about now. Then he climbed up my jeans and sunk his claws into my crotch area. Good thing Levi's are thick. Fortunately I was able to distract him with the old Kleenex trick; you dangle a piece in front of a kitten and they just go nuts for that stuff. Shred, shred....hilarious too; I think kittens are the funnest to watch-play-with of all.

Tested negative for Bong.

Frimpy should tell us about the cute boa constrictors he use to sleep with when he had the waterbed. That tale is worth a squeal or two from the ladies...

When I was a little (about 5 or 6) we had a joey that dad rescued from it's mum's pouch.

When I read that sentence I immediately pictured a man punching a kangaroo and taking the joey out of the pouch. In an almost Peter Griffin-ish style.

You've been deprived .... I think every kid needs to have a pet some time . They are great for adults too , for the compansionship.

You can catch wild rocks very easily .... just look for the rock which has eyes and is trying to blend in with a bunch of pebbles next time you go for bush walk near a stream or creek.

You don't need a licence to catch them , and they don't run very fast , they just freeze and try to look like the pebbles.

The mother kangaroo was killed by a car and the joey refused to leave it, it was outside the pouch.

No we didn't eat the mother.
