If it is cheaper , and concerves mineral oil , but food crops are diverted to produce it , is it ethical to buy it to run your car ?

I have no choice as I am on a tight budget and every penny counts so ethical or not - I will buy it. 0 (0%)
Biofuel is green fuel (we are told) so it's a good thing to buy it and support the local biofuel industry and biofuel criopping farmers. 0 (0%)

Here we have E10 ULP , here sugar is the source so buying E10 ULP is probably ethical .

But in some places rice , corn , maise and wheat are used and the demand of these food crops for diverson to ethanol production is causing hardship for people in some of the very same countries where the crops are being grown (ie India - rice , wheat in africa) , seems to me that diverting food to biofuel is unethical in these circumstances even if it is profitable.
