Don't make me use my bare hands on you.
To me Obama seems very talented at charismatically saying something vague and meaningless. This explains his popularity among modern Americans and the news media.

I know he is a Democrat from Cook County,Illinois and it scares me to think that there are people who think putting a Cook County Democrat into national office is a good thing.

Other - because I am trying to sort out what issues are important to me now that I have three Liberal Senators to choose from.

I would like to answer this question:

about where he stands on most of the issues that are important to me.

My dissatisfaction with Juan Pablo McCain makes me want to punish him with Access Denied!

What really irritates me is that I had many discussions with like minded conservatives during the early primaries and these guys cried how there were NO conservatives there. While they scratched their collective asses and wasted their votes on the likes of Fred Thompson, Ron Paul and Mike Chuck Norris Huckabee, they all ignored the Mormon. Well hes too perfect, he must be fake. Nobody really Loves their wife and Family right? AAaahhhhhh Mitt changed his position so he is not genuine aaaauauaaarraaagghhhhhhhhhhhhh they all said.

In the mean time the Anti Operation Chaos was voting in Juan.

Someone should write a book called "Why Republicans Slept".

Ever Listen to Glenn Beck's gloat fest after Bush beat Kerry? I loved it. He plays music and sound bites and laughs his ass off. I'd like to see Barack get elected and hear that gloat fest.

Juan still has a chance to get my vote. As of right now I want to scrape him off of my shoe.

Yeah, I'm enjoying this from over the fence.

But the president of the USA is an important deal, especially for your most immediate neighbour and trading partner.

I do have some questions about Obama's position on NAFTA.

If it turns out that McCain is slightly better for "Canada", then I will go with him.

Hillary is out under any circumstances. Tired of the Bush/Clinton dynasty.

My only misgivings about Obama, is how strict he would be in international affairs. Better for him to employ a "hawk" for NSA advisor; we don't need another Jimmy Carter.

Just wish McCain was a little younger. Again, if he does pick up Condi Rice as a running mate, then I'm in. Maybe even Powell.

And I agree with Jag, I kind of liked Mitt Romney too.

I am beginning to suspect a deal was cut with Romney. He dropped out right after Florida.
Neat how the DEMS are dirtying themselves up and McCain is sitting back preparing and OUT of the Blame-stream media sound bites.

The Juan Pablo Amigos ticket needs some conservative street cred and a successor in four years when Juan reaches 87 and is too old for a second term. Mitt gets my vote. Otherwise I am feeling pretty grumpy.

Why is 87 to old to be president?

Actually, McCain will be 76 at the end of a first term (he's 71 now).

The older I get, the less that matters. McCain is younger than my Dad.

I believe the man himself said he was older than dirt. It is in that same way I exagerrated him into the 80's to make a point about how I feel about him. It would be regrettable if anyone read my post and thought mcCain was actually in his 80's.
Truth is your Dad is probably not as spry now as he was when he was your age now. Add to that this guy has already run for President twice and not been a factor. What is this? Sloppy old thirds? Pathetic.

He will have to earn my vote. Idon't trust him. I don't believe I can know where he really is. His Maverick record sucks. I do not want to reward that.

I will vote for McCain. He isn't Clinton or Obama, and I will not waste my vote. :meditate:

Clinton and Obama will do far worse to the US than McCain.

I know, lesser of 2 evils, yada yada yada. Some conservatives will also say that it took a Carter to get Reagan. Well, I'd rather my Carter be strong on the war on terror, rather than wanting to kiss their ass and negotiate...like CARTER DID LAST WEEK, and like Obama and Clinton want to do.

Carter committed treason and should be jailed. Period.
