How about a Voyager Movie
I am watching the so called Compassion thing on CNN live right now.

Hillary is entirely bereft and devoid of convictions and or principles. In short I do not think she has any measure of right and wrong.

She said Poor people are dis proportionally afflicted with Aids and Disease? Not Africa but here in our country. This is insulting to Low income Americans. HIV does not discriminate between classes or income levels.
She mixes and matches bizarre combinations of words that do not work.

Faith is Grace and its mystery and its...yadda yadda.?

She used the word Grace incorrectly about fifty times all night.
Grace in my faith is defined as "unmerited favor".
As in John 3:16

Additionally Hillary looks as uncompfortable speaking to Reverends and Rabbis as any human being in any situation I have ever seen. :ugh:

SUPER WOW. :scared:

Perhaps she meant low income families are disproportionately affected by AIDS and other diseases. And if that were the case I would have to agree with her. There have been a lot of advancements in medicine for AIDS so that people with the disease can live healthier, longer lives than AIDS victims once did, but these medicines are wildly expensive and so poorer victims probably can't afford the medication.

Yours is not the only one to be considered.

Now this:

As a response to Obama's recent elitist diatribe about the people of Pennsylvania is a perfect example of how Clinton does not stand by her convictions. As she would take those guns away just as fast as Obama would.

All three of us agree(me, myself and I) we don't need statistics. Sometimes one can smell the waft from the horse shit and thusly conclude it has to be horse shit.

I would have to disagree. Before you can say someone is wrong or lying (which ever it is you are saying) you have to have proof that they are. Clinton could be interlay correct that HIV/AIDs afflicts people of lower income more then it does people of higher income. Since a large portion the problem is education I would not be surprised if she where correct in this statement.

I don't agree that a lack of education about AIDS is a significant reason that it afflicts more poor people than rich in the USA.

Then what would be the significant reason in your view?

And it doesn't need to be "education about AIDS" it could also be "education about life in general", "education about appropriate behavior in society that has diesis like AIDS", "education about the role woman should play in society", "education that short term fun is not worth long term disability and death" and many others.

Sort of like a vampire standing beside a pool full of holy water.

In this respect, Obama trumps her once again.

Actually it's a fact, not an insult. You are right that it affects all classes and income levels, but not proportionally.

If this is a representative example, I don't see the problem. One way to be a recipient of God's grace is to be given the gift of faith (at least, many believers say).

This is not you personally Jag, but this nitpicking really has to stop. I agree with calling Hillary on the carpet about her lie regarding being fired upon in Bosnia. Lying is not acceptable. But this microscopic examination of words that we as a country have gotten caught up in is really destroying us. I wonder how many people out there with really great qualifications and ideas for our country will never even consider running for office because of how ugly it all has become.

Really, I wonder about that too. I try and take in the content of the three main candidates over time, how they conduct themselves, how they handle their "mini-crisises" and so on; not become obsessed with this or that little "soundbite" . In all the public appearances and speeches that the candidates will give, there are going to be moments where questionable remarks and embellishments are going to happen.

Let's not impeach the candidates before they actually acheive office.

Plenty - but it's been this way for as long as any of us can remember. Remember Jimmy Carter in 1976, "I tell you that anyone who looks on a woman with lust has in his heart already committed adultery. I've looked on a lot of women with lust. I've committed adultery in my heart many times."

That was a huge deal - even though it's very normal and almost every man does it.

We still seem to have plenty of candidates to campaign for te positions.

Perhaps I have too much faith in mankind. In my view the woman who puts contraceptive jelly on her toast and then wonders why she still ends up pregnant is the exception, not the rule.

People make poor decisions - but mostly due to a lack of discipline, not a lack of knowledge.

Does poverty cause the mindset, or does the mindset cause poverty? I think it's the latter in most cases.
