I am sick at the thought of a Hillary vs McCain. I already believe I will not vote for either one of them. I do not like them. I want Romney/Gulianni ticket but its not gonna happen. I may vote Romney both in the primary and the election even if he is not the nominee. Hell if we have two Liberals in the election why not vote for the best Liberal? Maybe I'll vote for Obama. What a mess I can't figure out why the Republican Party and Conservatives are now two different animals. Are idependents voting for McCain??????????? WTH is causing all of the endorsements? If my own mother endorsed McCain I would cut her loose. The governator...OUT Rick Perry out Guliani outta here governerr Krist, Sorry charlie OUTThe only way I would vot for Juan McCain is if Mitt Romney was the VEEP. What A MESS!!!! Florida Democrats with no delegates? wow.......... What a mess

Same here, and Frimp too, I believe. I wish there was someway we could get millions to write in Ronald Reagan in the primaries. |

Are there any pro-life Republican candidates running for the Presidency at this time? |

Mitt Romney was pro choice, but changed his mind. He did not flip flop. He changed his mind, and has stuck to it. McCain would come out as pro choice if he thought it would get him more independant/democrat delegates. He obviously doesn't care about the true Republican base. |

What's the difference between flip flop and changing your mind? |

I voted for it before I voted against it. That is a flip flop. Hillary Clinton voting for the war, but now claiming that she only voted that way because Bush lied is a flip flop. I was once a liberal. I changed my mind, and never looked back. It was my choice, and I stand by it. That is the difference. |

A lot of people did because they were fed false information. Once you find out that the information is false, it's bound to change your mind. |

^ Bush had the same info that congress had. They all acted on it. Mistake or not is irrevelant, so lets not go there, or we'll see another RTW cartoon. Saying something like "I thought it was right at the time, but looking back, I was wrong when I voted." is not a flip flop. But, saying "I only voted that way because the president lied." is a flip flop. Anyway...

Moderator Comment This wasn't intended to be the debate about Bush, the congress, and the Iraq war. Please keep that in the other threads, so this one can be what the topic starter intended it to be. Thanks |

Ron Paul is pro-life I think Huckabee is as well. I know that Romney has changed on this, that is one of the things that makes me uneasy about him. I, myself, wonder why there are so many Republicans that get support within the party but apparently do not actually agree with the Republican party platform. McCain, is a Democrat, he just couldn't get elected to Senate as one. When it is time for Texas' primary, I am voting for Paul, who probably will not win, but it should indicate to the RP that the conservative base is still important. I personally predict that Romney will win the nomination, and I will not find it difficult to vote for him in November. Our goof-ball governor is just trying to hitch his wagon to the horse that he thinks will win. He claimed to be a Huckabee supporter at one time as well. When is the next governor election? |

I used to be pro choice but changed to pro life as well. Mitt's policies I agree with. Foreign Policy, Immigration/border security, social issues and economy/taxes. He also poseses the Vitality and Vigor to effectively lead. I felt his Mormon speach at Texas A&M was brilliant and it more than satisfied my standing with regards to that. |
