Are you getting tire of the "All will be reveal" episode to episode teaser? :headscratch:

I've just completed watching the latest episode on SPACE. Despite some of the slower pace of the episode an uneasy alliance is being formed between the cylon rebels and the colonial fleet. It looks like we are in for a really fast ride toward the series finale.

In two weeks, folks, Admiral Adama will find his ExO is actually a cylon agent. We know this confrontation is bound to happen sooner or later. In two weeks, folks, And counting. :ermm:

OK, two weeks ago, I decided that this thing had completely lost it mind and I couldn't even hang in long enough to care who the 12 Cyclon was.

But, of course, I taped the last two just in case I would want to fast forward through it later.

I didn't fast forward through either - LOVED THEM BOTH!

The big difference in the episodes I loved and hated - the religion aspect. No, it doesn't work.

In fact, I am somewhat surprised there hasn't been some backlash on the issue. I am not personally offended, but the advertisement for BSG rips off the Last Supper of Christ painting.

I am surprised someone hasn't thrown a hissy fit about the issue.

Must not be Sci-Fi fans.

Just finished Season One. Surely they won't kill of Adama?! :o Can't believe they ended like that... My friend will hopefully have Season Two for me tomorrow. :P

I like the couple of episodes that dealt with the political situation. The Zarek character is interesting on a number of levels. Can't figure out, yet, if he's just a terrorist thug or a liberty-agitating freedom man - or somewhere in between. Then there is the whole ending in Season One of Adama having locked up the President. But the political dynamics raise some good questions. In this type of situation where humankind is literally on the brink of destruction, how important is the status quo? Who would really follow it? What would be one's motives to do their part in maintaining civil law? Would you want to elect a new government because the current president came from so far down the chain? Would you even want a typical government? Would the people restructure based on new needs? Would a military rule be better in this type of very special situation?

Add that to the human element story between all the varied relationships, the mystery and suspense, a unique sci-fi blend, and a human-cylon baby!?

Man, this show is crazy! :wow:

How odd. I just finished Season One myself. :chin:

What I don't understand is the Number 6/ Gaius Baltar relationship.
Is she all a part of his imagination or what? Why can't everyone else see her?

i don't even think that the writers of the show know what's going on with that one.

^^^ That's not very re-assuring!

My understanding is that Number 6 planted herself in Baltar's sub-conscious and that is why only he can see/hear her. What I don't know for sure if Number 6 died during the nuclear attack by protecting Baltar from the blast? Or if she survived and is still on Caprica? Because if Baltar survived, then she could have, too. I also can't figure out if she planted herself in his brain by her own decision because she's obsessed with him? Or if she did it under orders and its all part of the Cylons' plans? And if the crib she shows him at the end of Kobol's Last Gleaming is their baby or Helo's baby with the other Cylon chick.

Okay, my brain has just cramped up again, so I'm done. :beam:

So do Starbuck and Apollo get together? Does Baltar ever get over being called "Lee"?

I'm feverishly looking for Season Two. In the meantime, while waiting for Season 2 to be available, I think I'll start on Stargate Atlantis.

You hoo, Intrepid! :wave2: If you're looking for BSG season two, just check with your local Best Buy, Future Shop or your favorite retail store. At the moment I saw the box set on sale for around $CDN 45 each. It's a terrific deal.

We now return to our regularly scheduled topic. :news: I'm assuming we all had seen the last episode, In case you didn't here is a spoiler for you to enjoy.

Spoiler: click to toggle

Any speculation of what RDM had in mind? :headscratch: Let the speculation begin.

I am wondering if we need to split this into a clearly marked spoilers thread and one for those who have not seen it as far as the present episodes. The problem is that perhaps some have seen to the end of season 2 but others are only up to season 1.

I would hate spoil anything for anyone as the series is packed with surprises that are fun to experience.

I think what Digifan did is fine - hiding the spoilers. I've also been pretty careful about what I read!

My dealer hooked me up with the good stuff early - so I watched the first two episodes of Season 2 last night. :wow: I did not think it possible, but the upped the intensity! The second show, especially - it was almost like a horror flick with all the screaming and shooting in the dark. Eeek! :scared:
