Here's what I'm thinking. They've stop lobotomizing the centurions so the centurions will turn on the seven models, final five and the humans. The humans and the human-like Cylons have to band together to fight off the massive centurion army led by... I dunno... one really self-aware, intelligent centurion. Then after the humans and human-like Cylons win, they start their new lives together on Earth. Where human and human-like Cylons live in peace and harmony and begin procreating until there's no more pure Cylons left. |

Well, we must keep Fire from going ballistic on us.
I'm in the middle of reviewing and watching the season three box set. Stay tune for the reviews. Maybe we should start an episode to episode review? |

Shaken, not stirred...

I just began the pilot movie last night and am impressed, so far, with the premise. I've tried not to read too much in this thread to avoid spoilers.
I've always liked the story in the old series - even though the humans vs. artifical life thing has been done, at least the story was unique, this time. This update is nice. At the moment, I do not like the 'Starbuck' character. Sarkoff[sp?] is trying way too hard to be rough and tough. Hopefully she settles into the role as the series went on.And a wonderful surprise to see Jamie Bamber as 'Apollo!' I enjoyed him as Lt. Archie Kennedy in the A&E Hornblower movies some years ago. My friend who loaned me the movie has promised to loan me Season One when I'm done. |

LOL, well... I will say she doesn't take that macho crap to the level that say... Michelle Rodriguez took "Anna Lucia" on Lost. |

I take that as a "no," then. It's not the character, I mean. That's fine. I'm saying that Sarkhoff just seems to be "forcing" it, I guess. But it is very common in a new series for the actors/actresses to take a season or so to settle into the role and make it "their own." I remember TNG was the same way that first season... |

While I'm not asking any questions that lead to spoilers, I do have to ask, "Do the Vipers get any better against the Cylon fighters???" Cause right now they are getting blasted and appear to be woefully over-matched and before no time at all, the Galactica is going to be plumb out!

33 was kind of a stressful episode to watch. I liked it. Though we never did figure out the reason why it was every 33 minutes. There is much on the extra material about if anyone was aboard the ship that was destroyed. Sometime in Season one, they bring in a member of the original cast to play a recurring role. So, that's kind of neat. I guess you know that it won't be Lorne Greene. |
