No it's me spanky, I actually started the discussion.

And it do not believe it was to make the character whiny, I believe it was too make Cally more realistic. Tyrol has been virtually ignoring her the past few episodes, she's married to him. Add that to the already tense circumstances they live in and it's not so completely unreasonable that she starts complaining about things.

Nevertheless, I found the way the comments were written way too rude.

Well I'm sorry you found it rude. But I'm not sorry that I said it nor do I apologize for the way I said it.

Did not some people rejoice at the death of Dukat? Did not some people cheer for Vader throwing Sidious over that railing?

Granted, Cally wasn't a villain along those lines, but my hatred for her has grown in the past three seasons. Honestly, this was a moment I was waiting for that I wasn't sure would ever come.

And when it did... it was sooooo satisfying. And I'm not ashamed to admit it. Join together, fellow Cally-haters and resolve. We're here, we thought Cally was queer, get used to it! (Sounded slightly more funny in my head, but anyway.)

well yeehaa good for you then, maybe you should make a thread to celebrate it....honestly how childish is this...><
And no I did not celebrate at any of those moments or events when someone died, its a part of a story and it should remain that way.
But if you wanna go diss around actors and their roles that way then be my guest i just merely spoke my opinion about it. laugh all you want and mock all you want, but im not gonna redeem myself to the same level and make some hatethread about Roslin.
If you want to comment that way then do so, freedom of speech however that also includes that I get to comment on the fact that your comment was rude, and to see you post about it with smileys laughing and everything just merely states how childish you are.
We have to take your comments serious, id suggest you do the same. its called respect

NOTE: The reason why I named the word 'rude' was a poor lack of choice, english is not my first language and I couldnt express myself very well, ill apologize for using that word and I take it back, however I will not change my opinion on his poor taste of commenting on events in series.

At this point I would normally let this go. But there are some points I have to address.

Why would I make a thread celebrating Calli's death? I merely mentioned how happy I was that she is dead. To create a thread on it would be... :deadhorse:

And as to respect... well, not once have I attacked you on a personal level. But perhaps that's just not in my "childish" nature.

I've tried to explain it before that my hatred of the character came from the way she was written. The actress did not create the character and she surely didn't write any of her own lines. I'm sorry she's out of a job, but I'm ecstatic that her character is no longer on the show.

And as to freedom of speech, well I never really thought the US Constitution applied to the internet. As a former moderator of several other boards I know the importance of silencing trouble makers and I certainly hope no one here sees me as a trouble maker.

And not once have I taken you or Spanky's comments as anything less than serious. Respecting your opinion doesn't mean I have to agree with it or conform to it.

But I imagine the other moderators are tired of this being discussed in this thread. Feel free to contact me by PM if you'd like to discuss it further.

not in the mood to respond nor do I see a point as to respond.
And its not just a law in the us, freedom of speech is also a law in our country.

Back on topic;
Ronald D.Moore then certainly did the very good episodes of startrek voyager, no wonder he made such a good show out of battlestar.

I will say that that opening scene in the first episode where Saul

Spoiler: click to toggle

was jaw-droppingly insane. I must have replayed that scene over and over again at least twenty times.

Let's take a different course people. :ermm:

What is it with Baltar and the cylons? :headscratch: Why are the human cylons keeping him around? We know the fleet had evidence inducting him to be the traitor who gave the cylons the access codes leading to the attack and destruction of the twelve colonies. :chin: Will he delude himself to the level of godhood just because the sick boy got better after he examined the child? Stay tune. :news:

I keep wishing that Baltar would just go away, but I know that he won't.

I don't think that he is a Cylon. He has been a useful idiot for the Cylons. For some reason one of the Cylons loves him.

I am trying to figure what role he has left to play. He isn't with the Cylons any more. The humans all hate him and don't want him around except for the goofy women who took him in.

We'll see.

I'm starting to wish he'd sit spread eagle in a ridiculously high chair in velour pants the way John Colicos did in the original series.
