Anyone think that tonight's BSG will make any sense?

If it made sense to you then please explain it to me.

Did Ellen Tigh kill Caprica's unborn child? Did she mean to? Or was it just the stress of her presence?

Why was Boomer thrown in the brig? Chief and Boomer were a couple way back in season 1, right?

Why does Chief want to leave? Seems out of character for him.

Who's going to kill Ellen Tigh this time: Saul, Galen or Anders? She's a cancer.

Adama armed Baltar's group rather than sending in a few marines to clean up the thugs? Giving guns to a weak crazy man and his loyal idolators? I don't buy it.

Had I a bit more time yesterday, I was prepared to detail my theory of how this whole series is going to end.

Last night's episode invalidated the whole thing.

Based on what we saw in that episode, I am betting the series will end with the sound of water running and a barely dressed Starbuck opening door on Apollo in the shower.

He will look at her and say, "We have to stick to scotch the next time. You should have seen the dream that I had." :scared:

1. I think it was the stress of her presence.

2. Boomer in brig? Chief and Boomer did have a "thing", but what I don't get is how we know who THAT Boomer is? One of my problems with the cloining aspect is how to identify one specific clone.

At one point, the Sharon married to the guy who had the child sacrifices herself to get her daughter and is then reborn. He got "a" Sharon back her memories, but not exactly the same Sharon.

He adapted to it apparently.

3. Chief also walked away from his child without a backward glance. Who knows what he is thinking.

4. I'm betting on Caprica 6.

5. Agreed. They have decided to suddenly have Adama go completely nuts - who knows why.

I kind of wondered if Ellen was supposed to have somehow killed Caprica's baby or not. I didn't figure that part out. During the second part of the episode, our neighbor came over and stood in the kitchen talking loudly with my wife and BSG often uses a bunch of almost wispered dialog. So, I couldn't yell "shut up" in to the kitchen and turning up the TV didn't help. So, I missed a bit of dialog there.

Isn't Boomer in the brig because she, ya know, tried to kill Commander Adama by shooting him in the chest? Tyrol is a cylon and cylons seem to be able to tell each other apart. On New Caprica, Athena goes to get colonial launch keys from the Cylon compound and when she goes in, Deanna immediately recognizes her as Athena.

It wasn't really the chief's child, it was what's his name Hotdog, Narcho, whomever's child. The writers sure do like to jerk us around with children.

If they kill of Ellen again, it will be for keeps, apparently.

Adama's best friend and first officer is a Cylon who knocked up another Cylon. Adama just faced a mutiny by Geata and Zarek. Adama's ship is falling apart and his Cylon chief is repairing it with Cylon technology. Ellen returns and she is a Cylon. His lover is dieing of cancer. The entire government of the colonies has just been assasinated. I'd say he's due for a crazy spell.

As for arming Baltar's group, perhaps the devil you know. Perhaps his marines can't keep control, especially as half of them were killed a couple of episodes ago.

Who thinks that the Cylon technology being used to repair Galactica will eventually be used against them?

Maybe Buck Rogers and Twinkie will show up and save the day in the end.

Bingo! :wow: Who knows how many marines were involved in the mutiny. Galactica'a manpower is almost depleted. Adama doesn't have control of some areas of his own ship.

Did Ellen intend that to happen to sever the connection between her ex and Caprica?

In this case the Chief (Galen) identified her as Boomer. I'm guessing that cylons can tell.

Callie shot her and sent her off to download city and she has been with the Cylons since. She was the only one of her model to side with Cavil in the big Cylon break up.

Now I remember. Thanks. So Cylons can tell even with the new body? I wonder how that works.

Well, it's Friday again and time to find out once again that everything that they have written up to this point is total crap and that it's really this way.
