Bump!

The clue to the identity of the final cylon is within Razor. The final episodes of this critically acclaimed series is being broadcast on January 16th. SPACE is presenting the final third season episodes leading to the fourth season over the next two weeks. :omg:

BTW did you catch the return of the silver and gold versions of the cylons in Razor? They even speaks and act like the classic centurions except they were armed with machine guns in their left hands. :scared:

By your command. :chin:

Stay tune...

The final ten episodes of Battlestar Galactica had started. In its final moments the fifth cylon agent was revealed as

but that did not make sense. :headscratch: We had a discussion special by so called "experts" after this episode on SPACE. They had a number of theories of who the fifth cylon agent could be but they are still speculations at this point. We should know more as the fleet make a final stand against their enemies over next ten weeks with a three hour series finale movie. :chin:

They also found a ancient centurion and a bunch of humanoid cylon skelatal remains. Then we see a Thrace duplicate that has yet to be explained. There are seemingly many, many more than 12 cylon models now.

I watched the episode over the web while eating lunch. Interesting.

One thing that shocked me a bit was seeing Adama let things go to hell in a handbasket. Crew fighting in the passageways, graffitti. Order and leadership must be maintained at all times or things do "go down the toilet" (as Adama or Tigh said). It wasn't until the end of the episode that Adama squared away and started to lead again.

Agreed - it didn't seem right.

Yes, I agree Wichita, but I think that was a periodic character. They are probably trying to just dump the kid off and find a way for him to go away without making the Chief go away.

One of my beefs is that they kind of wrote Baltar's character into a corner here. Now he just kind of rants and rambles aimlessly about God and gods and sin or whatever. It doesn't go anywhere, it is boring, and a waste of the precious 45 minutes and change of every episode. I wish they would do something relevant with him or get him off the show.

Do we really need a 3 minute shot of Adama working at his desk and looking at his clock and taking a sip of his drink and then walking to his door? I was waiting for him to rip one or something to make it more interesting.

Season 1 and 2: awesome; good individual stand-alone episodes that contributed to the entire story.
Season 3: OK, some good episodes but kind of disjointed.
Season 4: Few individual episode storylines but excessively serial with hours or useless diaglog, with occasional relevant information. I will watch it out, but the whole season is looking like it could have been done in a 2 or 3 hour movie.

Just be patient, Hoss. All will be revealed. :news: RDM loves to throw plot twists into his TV series. They are some of the reasons why DS9 had a really strong concluding story arc leading to the series finale. I expect a similar concluding story arc in BSG as well.

Baltar may have a minor role at the moment but I have a feeling he's the key in firming the new uneasy alliance between the cylon rebels and the fleet as they draw the line to confront their enemies. We had plenty of spotlight on the cylon agents. Just how their presence would determine the fate of the fleet survival remain to be seen. :chin: Stay tune...

A plot twist would be nice. Maybe more than once or twice a season.

I'm just saying that the series seems much more bogged down and filled with, ummmm, filler, than it was in seasons 1 and 2. Just seems to me like they kind of got lost and so are just spinning around trying to figure out how to make it so complicated that any thing they do seems reasonable now.

Had you seen the latest episode from the desk of RDM's Battlestar Galactica? He had Dean Stockwell performing a speech that had strikingly similarities to Hamlet when he was contemplating the complex question known as the human equation. :wow: It was a mentally moving monologue. Meanwhile the admiral seem to had resigned to the fact his ship had pass her prime and she need a lot of major upgrades including incorporating cylon technology to repair his beloved ship and bringing her back into battle ready condition. :chin:  Will the new chief of operations pull a Scotty Miracle or O'Brien Hat Trick out of his hat? Stay tune... :news:

The two mutiny episodes were actually quite good.

The return of the 5th was better than I expected, but, since it I expected it to be REALLY bad, that isn't saying much.

But, now, we have a 13th one?????

Oddly, it had crossed my mind previously that there should be 13 if there were 13 tribes, but this one just pulled out of thin air.

And, I didn't watch the series during the New Caprica period closely. Didn't Saul's wife have an affair with Dean Stockwell's character.

If that is the case, the conversation between them last night was pretty darn creepy. :X

Ellen was boinking Cavel (Cabel???) to get Saul out of Cylon prison.

They do a couple of really good episodes with the mutiny and all, and then they just kind of go silly again.

In the end, I predict that everyone will be a cylon except Baltar.

Can't wait until Friday.
