Well, just finished season 3 and I must say I wanted to scream! Kind of ticked off at the revelation of 4 of the final 5 Cylons. 2 of those 4 are pretty much unbelievable... Oh, well, now I have a hiatus from BSG until I can catch season 4 re-runs, or something...

Not possible. Cain was shot and killed at point blank range. Her body had never disappeared and we saw the funeral when her body was ejected into space. If Cain was the final cylon there should of been clues leading to this assumption. The evidence thus far are still pointing at Baltar.

"Cain was shot and killed at point blank range. Her body had never disappeared and we saw the funeral when her body was ejected into space." Not sure how this rules out Cain, as Cylons regenerate by downloading into a new body and the old body is disgarded. For instance, in the beginning of season 3 we see Leoben killed by Starbuck and his body left on the floor when he returns in his new body after downloading. As to Baltar: Spoiler: click to toggle There is a tremendous clue leading to Cain as the final Cylon. Spoiler: click to toggle

Hoss, I think you might be right about Cain. Maybe the scene with her a her little sister at the end of the Cylon War was an impacted memory. It's too bad we have to wait six or seven to find out. |

My friend has downloaded and copied to DVD the first few Season 4 eps. But I must say I am so disappointed and let down with the ending of Season 3 that it is hard to make time for them. Plus, I'd have to watch them on my computer, which is kind of odd to me... ![]() And if Cain is the final Cyclon, that'd be ironic that the Cylons' best chance to kill the human insurgency when she commanded Pegasus was thwarted when she was shot...by another Cyclon!

That is a good point, I am going to have to think about how that scene relates. It has never been revealed by what trickery the Cylons placed the imposters among the humans. How did Boomer just show up, for instance. They would have had to do a lot of work establing a background for her. Perhaps, the final 5 were inserted as babies some how and aged normally. Perhaps, also, there is a religious element to this as well as the show involves alot of that. |

You kept on insisting it's Cain, Hoss, but you forgot an important fact - Lee Adama. IMO he could be the prime candidate for the final cylon because of his abrupt behavior change. Think about it. Lee came back after he defied direct orders by his father and risked his life to find Starbuck. He then resigned from the fleet, became a legal counselor and start aiming for the presidency. Was this his destiny - To become a politician? In the first two seasons he was struggling to get out of his father's shadow in order to establish his own path. His behavior started changing after he sacrifice the Pegasus in season three. He jumped at the chance when Rosalin was abducted and presume killed in season four by the cylons. Besides we had yet to see Cain returning from the dead since she was shot at point blank range. The only clue was the mysterious 1701-D room where the four cylon agents had met but it could just be RDM's tribute to TNG. Just something you might want to think about.
