I wonder if she ever saw this coming. Apparently its not about her at all, its about Obama's youth and vigor and charm and overall appeal that makes Clinton uninteresting to Democratic Primary voters.

Its the "AGE" stiupid may sum up this race after its all said and done.

I think that before she completely sinks she'll fire off a full spread of anti-Obama torpedoes to damage him. Remember that this is a woman with access to 900+ FBI files.

If she did that surely her party would never forgive her. She would be outcast. She would also look like a poor and petty looser.

Not sure if it was on here on in an article I was reading in a newspaper but I heard one excellent example of why Clinton is proving unpopular and why she would likely prove unpopular or at best divisive in a general election. The theory went that its about her willingness not to be President but to be Vice-President.

The summary of the argument was that while people have talked about democratic tickets of Clinton & Obama, Clinton and Edwards, Clinton and X - its always Clinton first. Few think say an Obama/Clinton ticket could be possible. The assumption that even democrats themselves are making is that Hillary is so arrogant she would never and could never cope with being second place on a ticket.

Don't make me use my bare hands on you.
I just saw one of the most sleezy campaign tricks yet this season. At a Hillary speech, some dude in the audience holds up a sign and shouts "iron my shirt". And of course, she is ready with a few clever quips to come back to them. It was obviously contrived to evoke sympathy for Hillary the victim being attacked by the mean old male chauvenists out there. Remember who is running her campaign. They have to compete with Obama playing the race thing up all day.

Then there is Obama, once again evoking Martin Luther King Jr. Just how many times does he get a free pass playing the race card, anyway?

I tend to agree with this impression. I can see Obama or Edwards fitting into a Hillary presidency; (VP, Secretary Of State, and so on) but I can't see Hillary playing second fiddle if Obama were to be the presidential candidate.

I get the impression that it's President (or the Dem nomination) or forget about it.

Similarily, I doubt if Rudy (Guliani) is interested in any position other than the Republican nomination for president. Get that sense of it, too.

Mind you, I'm not criticizing Hillary's approach here. There's a strange logic to why I can respect this approach by Ms. Clinton. But I think that it will get real interesting in a hurry if in fact Obama wins the nomination. I think you'll suddenly see a whole raft of players emerge who want to be involved in an Obama presidency. He'll have to be careful if that turns out to be the case.

Maybe she's not done yet. As of this posting they're saying it's too close to call a winner.

I doubt Edwards would fit into a Hillary administration. He has run a very angry campaign. Angry at the Democratic Party establishment which are the Clintons.

I often wonder Giuliani is in fact interested in the VP position or a cabinet position. Something about his candidacy strikes me as if he just in it for the fun of it and at the end of the day he’ll be happy with the highest position he can get.
