I must comment that I think that an outstanding picture of the character Vina. I have never seen this before tonight. With that picture many things come to mind. Such as the characters life and times. The characters unparelleled attempts to win companionship. To feel needed, to have purpose, and meaning. ...Did I mention, with so much to give? But at what price. What a terribly hard thing to face. In my book, I think a shadow of that thought crosses our mind whenever we meet someone we wish to keep in our lives. And what a beautifully graceful way she faced her own perceived meaninglessness. Even given the almost limitless imaginings of advanced beings. Would no one stay with her? If not, failure would be all her own. The rejection, all her own. Could someone be made to feel anymore worthless, if rejected? If life is rare, love, and all that it is, may be inestimable She being the lone survivor plucked from a crashed ship on an alien world. Painfully awoken only to find herself being used in some mad aliens unusually cruel desperate attempt for survival where she could not help but feel And no sanctity for self Ever run out of ideas? I voted prior to seeing the picture of Vina. And the recollections of that episode. I voted for Frank Gorshin. I think he did an admirable job of emoting the roiling social currents of that time. However, I feel less connected with that time and see myself as only a benefactor. I feel more connected with life as a menagerie Twilight zone,Twilight speaking. Breath... Tap Tap |

I voted for Ricardo Montalban and Michael Ansara. Montalban's character was fantastic, and even better in the movie. Ansara's voice is very powerful, and he does the character of Kang well both in Day of the Dove and DS9's Blood Oath. |
