UNGH!
|
Just watched "Operation Annihilate" and was pleasantly surprised to remember Captain Kirk had a brother, Sam and a nephew Peter. I know Sam and his wife die but is there any more reference to Peter in future Trek? |

^^^ Trep (give it up), Only that Peter survives (it is said in the same episode). The actor that plays Peter (Craig Hundley) is seen later in the series, but in a different role (check out And the Children Shall Lead). In real life, I have read that he is an accomplished pianist. BTW, you probably caught that Sam Kirk was played by Shatner, with moustache and hair pulled back. Here is some info. on Tommy Starnes: http://memory-alpha.org/en/wiki/Tommy_Starnes And some info. on Peter Kirk: http://memory-alpha.org/en/wiki/Peter_Kirk Interesting that Peter had two siblings. I had forgotten about this. It doesn't look like they survived, in any event. |

Hmmm, still another actor who appeared twice and I didn't know about it. The role of Peter really was quite small which may be why I never noticed it. |

Not in the TV series but IIRC there was a follow up story in a novel base on Peter Kirk's ordeal. I'm not sure what it's called though.

Minuet, How about John Lormer (the man on the right)? He appeared in at least three episodes of TOS (and four if you count The Cage). I wouldn't be surprised if it was more, but I can think of at least four: The Cage, The Menagerie, Return of the Archons, and For the World Is Hollow and I Have Touched the Sky. ![]() http://memory-alpha.org/en/wiki/Jon_Lormer Additionally, Ian Wolfe (Septimus and Mr. Atoz) appeared in at least two episodes of TOS: http://memory-alpha.org/en/wiki/Ian_Wolfe |
