Have any of you read the book or seen the movie? Just curious...and, I think that story is going to come true. |

I have both read the book and seen a movie. The copy of the movie I have is a copy of a copy, because I'm not sure this movie is even available in the US. The US society is at the polar opposite end of the spectrum from the concepts presented in Huxley's vision. In the movie, I did not like the way Nimoy presented the Mustapha Mond character. It is quite different than the picture painted by Huxley. In the movie, Nimoy looks and acts like a 1960's hippie dropout. Which may very well be the producers intent. |

I think there are parts of this book that could possibly come to be. Our society has been focused on perfection for many, many years. Not too far fetched. |
