UNGH!

![]() Is there something wrong with this picture or am I seeing double? How do I get rid of that second toolbar. Not that I really wanted the first one, but one I can deal with. It's really getting irritating and nobody wants an irritated Intrepid. Thank goodness it's payday and a really good pair of shoes will make me feel better. Any help appreciated.

Intrepid, click on Tools, then click on toolbars and uncheck one of the Yahoo toolbars. I hope this helps. |

Intrepid, don't go there, go here: View >> Toolbars >> (and uncheck the toolbars you don't want. Odds are Google is listed twice). View is up at the top of the browser between Edit and Favorites. Clicking once brings up a pull-down menu. Toolbars is the top selection in Windows XP. |

^^^ Actually it is a Yahoo toolbar that is showing twice, not a google toolbar. Reference the Y on the left hand side. |

The Admiral's right! I'm using IE 7 and you're using IE 6. They look a little different. |

Time to put something here

If you don't want it in the first place (a good choice) then remove the program from you computer. Go to your control panel and then to add/remove programs. Then find yahoo tool bard and remove it. |

Every time I have tried to remove a yahoo tool bar, (from someone else's computer, I never allow it to be installed on mine) I find that it will not uninstall. I get some kind of error message saying that it can not be removed.

You need administrator or owner rights on the computer to remove it's program and restore the computer to pre-Yahoo toolbar settings. If you are on the machine as a limited user or a guest, you wont have the right privileges on your account. I have neither Yahoo or Google tools installed on my machines, I do have Epson tools though , but only because I have an Epson combo printer (I reckon Epson slays the other brands like HP, Canon, and the rest). |
