We buy a lot of fruit as we have kids.  It is a bit more expensive than the cheap junk food that a lot of people buy for kids, but i am willing to pay the cost.  Besides, i like pineapples, grapes, apples, and banananas.

I also really like fresh broccoli (regardless of whether or not i can spell it), but unfortunately am alone in my household in that regard.

Not intended to be an ass, but is there a reason you want to know?

Just curious.

Someone mentioned that fruit was a bit too expensive for them in another topic and it made me wonder.

Everyone buys fruit at least once a week in as part of the weekly grocery stock up, right ? , and the fruits listed are what we include every week (if in season that is and some aren't always available , and sometimes , like last summer , a cyclone wipes out an entire crop and so some fruits become too expensive for a while.)

Fruit is very important for health .

As well as unsweetened , undiluted Golden Circle juices - pineapple , and tropical being my favourates .

I buy fruit every time I go shopping, but usually one kind, maybe two. Never the same kind, because I get what is on special. And fruits spoil faster than veggies.

Compared to the veggies I buy, it's not a lot.

I eat very well and I am in very good health.

I knew that this thread was because of my comment.

The cheapest fruit around here are normally apples and bananas. Both of which I don't like very much and neither does my daughter. So they end up rotted when I get them. When I see a good special on other kinds I get them. Fruit definitely is more expensive then veggies.

Don't make me use my bare hands on you.
Buying green bananas can be seen as an expression of hope for ones future.

I rarely buy junk food either.

Broccoli is a wonderful food.
