Franko,

This is the first time I ever hear about what your job is.

Maybe I should hire you to serve divorce papers to my future ex-husband....

It's been an interesting line of work (most of the time); I definitely have some zany stories I could tell.

A lot of people don't know what a "Process Server" is, so I might do a thread about it sometime.

I've done P.S. ing and Legal Contract courier work for the last 22 years. Half of it involves redundant stuff like banking, getting signatures, waiting for judges and lawyers (hence my coffee habit) filing papers, documents, and so on, and then of course part of it has been serving civil documents on people.

My last service of a Divorce Petition was in '95. Franko nearly didn't come home that night. Since then it's just been insurance stuff and a lot of corporate/small business judgements, and so on.

I once played pool for 19 hours straight. Must have done the equivalent of 20 or so cups of coffee. After a while you start to sweat like crazy. Then you get totally wired. Then you get all sober and everything's clear as a bell.

Then you faint.

The cabbie drove me home and I crawled into bed and slept for four hours, got up, and had a......

coffee.

I started drinking coffe at 10 AM. it was Double strong Dark roast. drank a little over a 1/2 a gallon. I was wired with heart racing untill 4 am then completely crashed. I like 2-3 cups of coffee per day, tops. When I was in my last year of high school, I was up to eight per day. It eventually brought on ventricular tachycardia, which woke me up, so to speak (seriously).

Aww c'mon! Some love for Enterprise please!!!

I notice nearly every person who has listed TOS as thier favorite has put DS9 as their next favorite.

Interesting.........

And most of us (excluding Fes) have Enterprise at the bottom. However, note people that the question is not "which series don't you like". It is "What is your least favorite". It does assume that we like all the series - which is how it should be and how it is.

Minuet,

Could it be that these two series are the best written of the bunch? That would be my guess.

Where are you from?

Bathurst, NB, Canada

How old are you?

28 in 2 months

How many years have you been into Star Trek?

About 10 years, but used to watch it as a kid with my father

What is your favourite series?

Voyager

What is your second favourite series?

Not sure... TOS I think.

What is your favourite Star Trek episode?

I really don't know.

What is your least favourite Star Trek series?

DS9...sorry Niners...

What is your favourite sci-fi series or movie besides Star Trek?

Anything Stargate....

What is your favourite non-sci-fi series or movie?

Hmmm, I haven't watched much of anything other than documentaries lately.

Are you christian? ("yes" or "no" question)

No.

Which confession? (if "yes" in the previous question)

.....

Do you belong to one of the big world religions? (christianity, islam, judaism, hinduism, buddhism - "yes" or "no" question)

No.

Which one? (if "yes" in the previous question)

.....

Or what else? (one or two words please, if "no" in the previous question)

None.

Where do you stand politically? ("left wing" = social, "middle" = compromise, "right wing" = state, plus "extremism", being very radical about one of the former)

Depends. Center, sometimes left of center, sometimes right of center...

Do you still live with your parents?

Not for a decade.

What is your job?

I'm on my last 3 days of my summer job as an 'Archivist'. I work in a Genealogy centre, where I am presently taking very old newspaper clippings and taking note of all the names that appear in the various articles(birth announcement, obituaries, weddings, accidents, court preceedings...etc.), and making an index for them. So if a person wants to look up a certain name for a certain year, they can look at the index with ease and then search the binder full of clippings. This is by no means the actual job description, but it's what is being done at the moment. If visitors come in and ask for help on how to search their family tree, we show them how to look at our indexes and what books to look in. We have church records, obituaries, census records, family books...and a copy of each of our local newspaper dating back to the early 1900's.

Starting next week, I'm a full time college student.

What are your three most favourite styles of music?

This is a very tough question for me....I love all kinds of music and it all depends on my mood at any particular moment.

Nature vs Technology?

I can't choose.

Smoker or non-smoker?

Ex-smoker. 28 months smoke free

Drinker or non-drinker?

Occasional drinker.

Military or non-military?

Non-military, although I have a cousin who was in it during the Gulf War. He's retired now.

Ever done illegal drugs?

Too many times to count, they almost ruined my life.

Drivers license or no drivers license?

No driver's license, and almost 28. Yeah I know I'm sad. ;)

Not haters. Least favorite does not indicate hate - it only indicates MORE love for the other shows.
