well ive wanted it for a looooong time, and it basically represents science fiction and fantasy since that has been my only positive thing in my life before now, im thinking of adding to tiny little stars to it but thats about it.
It didnt hurt as much as i thought it would and the healing process is going well.
However i am gonna stick to this tattoo only, no more for luthie.

8247; could you share your tattoo please? im curious as to what yours looks like, however i can understand if you dont want to.

It will never get finished either.

it looks a bit...uhm odd, can u maybe explain what it represents, i mean i can see a castle and 2 people in front of it but i cant really make heads and toes from it. However i tend to dislike tattoo' s on forearms (no offence), yours looks kinda gothic and dark though which on the other hand i do like.
Must have hurt alot though, all the coloring and such...ouch

Its just a castle on a mountain. It was supposed to have a storm scape on the top of it, making it a full quarter sleeve. But, the surgery scar makes it impossible to finish. It didnt hurt much, except for the area at the top of my shoulder, (you get used to it on big tattoos after a while.) but if I had finished it, the storm would have hurt like hell around my collar bone.

Luthien, you were wise to go to a tattoo artist that had been used by other people that you know, and they could give him a good recommendation. Cleanliness is extremely important with getting tattoos. I hope you enjoy having yours.

I've got a couple of small ones myself. One is the DS9/Voyager-style comm badge, and the other is a Vulcan IDIC symbol. The only time anyone other than me can see them is when I wear a bathing suit. Didn't get them until I was into my 40's, and I don't have any regrets over them. Figured I couldn't go wrong with Star Trek symbols.

Now about those Gremlins ... remember never to feed them after midnight, and don't let them get wet!

I was actually thinking about a startrek symbol but i wasnt sure which one. plus im afraid i might regret that in 20 years, so i went for a little star, it does represent startrek and scifi however, and who knows maybe il get a startrek sign in 20 years :P

If anyone else has tattoo' s and cares to post them, i dlove to see them, just as id love to see urs!

So do you.

And I'm not used to drinking, I only drink on occasion so because of that I get drunk easily. :P

And I'm not corrupting the little sister, these are all qualities she already had. She's just expressing them more these days. And I remember that she called herself innocent! :rotfl:

yeya!

I'm a bit off considering getting one myself, but rest assure it will happen.
Being a hypocondric I want to have it done by someone I know, unfortunately there's a huge waitinglist before the guy has time for me..
Don't really care about what other ppl think about tattoos, for each his own. Or something like that
