So dear 'innocent' Luthie got her tattoo a few days ago. It was quite a trip but worth it. It looks awesome. The camera had some focus difficulties so bear with the photo's. ;)

There are no photo's of the tattoo being placed since she needed both my physical and mental support durig the placement of the tattoo. :P

Now she limps a bit and she might need this:

;)

And we went to a movie store the other day and the gremlin family got expanded (AGAIN!) so here they all are:

Madness! :P

And all Luth's fault. This famil expansion wasn't my plan. At all! ;)

No more tattoos please .... Luth

You'd be better off spending the money on something nice to ware or some jewellery.

well ive wanted it for a looooong time, and it basically represents science fiction and fantasy since that has been my only positive thing in my life before now, im thinking of adding to tiny little stars to it but thats about it.
It didnt hurt as much as i thought it would and the healing process is going well.
However i am gonna stick to this tattoo only, no more for luthie.

8247; could you share your tattoo please? im curious as to what yours looks like, however i can understand if you dont want to.

^^ Thats ot your usual tatoo, interesting.

Luth, while i don't think i'll ever get a tattoo, judging solely by the photos it looks like you pick a very sanitary/health-conscious place to get it. Kudos for that!

Looks can be deceptive.

One of my nieces picked up Hep-C through getting a tattoo. The equipment was not properly sterilised (in an autoclave) and a prior client of the tattooist was infected with Hep-C , and she now has a decease that will be with her for the rest of her life. Could have been worse , could have been HIV that she picked up.
She didn't get the decease elsewhere BTW.

Luth - I suggest you consult with your GP just to be on the safe side.

Sorry to be a party pooper , but , maybe you wasn't aware of the possible serious implications of getting a tattoo and I would not be a real friend if I didn't let you know.

You are probably OK , but , these things do happen and you are better off asking your GP for advice on this and maybe getting some blood tests done.
Your GP might also give you course of antibiotics to help with the healing of the wounds and he should check it out.

^^^

Im planning on seeing my doctor in a week or so any ways because i may have bloodsugardicease (typos?) So i can ask him about it. However the tattooist we went to we thourouhlly checked out first and his studio looks like a doctors office basically, he was very helpful and very reliable also (he did Sparky' s sister and her boyfriend as well) the wound is healing more and more now and i know he used a clean needle because i saw him take it out of the package. However it couldnt hurt to let my doctor take a look at it, so thanks for the advice!

it looks a bit...uhm odd, can u maybe explain what it represents, i mean i can see a castle and 2 people in front of it but i cant really make heads and toes from it. However i tend to dislike tattoo' s on forearms (no offence), yours looks kinda gothic and dark though which on the other hand i do like.
Must have hurt alot though, all the coloring and such...ouch
