Apparently we look like this now
This is the forum for the guys. Guy talk, issues, etc. You should expect a little more ribbing in this forum than you might get in the others. That being said, one thing I don't want to see here is the hyper sensitive arguing that turns threads into the discusson of the definition of a word, or he said she said bickering, and name calling.

An example of what I am talking about is this...

Quote:

Thread: I ate 1000 hot wings last night.

Post 1: I ate 1000 hot wings, and drank a case of beer last night, and whoo...its a good thing I have wireless on my laptop because I haven't been able to leave the toilet all day!

Reply (appropriate ribbing) I think its safe to say that you are full of crap!

Reply (inappropriate ribbing) Well, it serves you right since you are an alcoholic glutton. I hope you pass your intestine, you loser!

I don't want to close threads, or issue warnings, but I will if it gets out of hand.

I've also decided to handle the reports through PM rather than on the board. I don't like seeing comments in the thread. It makes the thread boring and hard to read.

I just want everyone to have fun here. Just realize that off color comments aren't necessarily insults. Everyone knows the difference.

Basically, what I am trying to say is to leave your personal feelings about other members at the door. I may not like Member_X's views on politics, but that doesn't mean that I wouldnt have a beer with that person. I'd like this forum to have a 'neighborhood pub happy hour' feel to it.

I have added to this thread, and left it open for comments.
