Here is something strictly for the ladies to consider and answer. Do you use body spray? Do you find it attractive? Or repelling? :headscratch: The reason I asks is because I would like to date a girl I've met at work  but I need to know her better first before we go out on a date. What are your recommendations?

I suppose this topic could go under the Dear SisterTrek forum but I want to know what the ladies think of this somewhat borderline personal topic. :chin:

I look forward to your comments. :ermm:

UNGH!
What do you mean Digifan? Body spray on you? Or body spray on her?
Or are you talking about a different body spray as in a light cologne or other?

A little more clarification please.

It's important to smell "clean" on your first date at least. That fresh out of the shower smell. I think that's sufficient for a first date.

I agree. I don't know if he's talking about men wearing body spray or women...

A funny thing. I have a 13 year old nephew who has obviously seen the Axe body spray commercials. He douses himself in the stuff pretty heavily (cloudbank in the bathroom). We visited back at Easter when the family went north for a funeral.

I walked into the kitchen and stood right next to him. I was a bit overwhelmed although my eyes didn't water. I commented in my best upper-crust British accent, "One of us smells like a tart's handkerchief! I'm afraid it's you, old chap," paraphasing the Bond line from Diamonds are Forever.

My brother-in-law pipes up with, "See Zach? More isn't better!"

Everyone but my nephew burst out laughing.

Wife and daugther use it.

As far as I know my boys don't.

I only use antipersperant spray when traveling by air on business and only under the armpits, or when we go dancing, under the armpits, and on the back (the places where I tend to sweat the most, not for my benefit but for the benefit of the ladies).

I'm not a big fan of perfumed aftershaves or sprays on men, and not impressed by overpowering perfumes on girls and women.

I like a nice scoosh of fresh smelling body spray all over after a shower. It makes me feel nice. ;)

I still wish for Digifan to elaborate on his opening post.

I'm not into strong smells, good or bad. Ever gone into a crowded confined space to find someone has gone overboard with an overpowering spray? I have, on more than one occasion.
