The Adminstrator wRench

The experiment that was the "rude" and "polite" forum is over. Everyone is now expected to behave themselves in the same manner in every forum. If you have a concern about what is happening the following forums, I am the administrator that you need to contact: Politics and World Events SisterTrek "Headlines from Around the World" Science and Technology If you have concerns about "Not So Current Events", contact HistoryDude or I as applicable. If you contact me, I first am going to determine if you have tried to resolve the issue with the moderators. If you haven't done so, do that. They are responsible for their forums. Inevitably, there is going to be some confusion about which is the appropriate forum in which topics should be posted. Inevitably some topics will be moved - don't take it personally. The final decision belongs to the moderators and administrators. There are no "hard and fast" rules. General Guidelines: 1. If it is a topic likely to appeal only to those seriously interested in science, then editorials, opinion pieces and news items are most appropriately placed in the Science and Technology forum. If the piece is geared to the "casually interested" public, then all other stated rules apply. 2. HistoryDude has already created guidelines for what is most appropriately placed in his forum. If it doesn't fit there, then all other stated rules apply. |
