I experienced the blue screen of death the other day.

ooh trust me, I experienced that ALLL the time in middle school because our home computers were crappy and they hated me and I hated them.

My Henry is only two years old and still in perfect working condition. :D

My Anastasia is less than a year old, so color me surprised when I saw the blue screen of death. I think it had to do with the programs that I was running at the time. Hasn't happened since.

I think I'll call him Crashy.

Does your computer hate you and crash on you all the time?

I actually have a brand new computer with pretty good hardware. Where I work, I really put Windows through its paces and I get to see the error report box at least two or three times a day. And some times the "NMI" blue screen which usually means a hardware malfunction.

Anyway, we have a design package that gets kind of buggy with a really large circuit board design and sometimes it bails.

One thing that bugs the crap out of me in Windows is when you plug in a USB flash drive. Windows asks you what to do and has a check box that says that it will automatically do this everytime. You check the box and the next time it just asks you again and the check box is there unchecked. This bugs my friends too. It is just one of the quirky things about Windows.

My Moritasgus is running out of memory :(

I'm using less than half of my memory. I don't do much with it.

Bleh...My dad's computer freaked out on us during Spring Break a few weeks ago. It was so bad we had to get my cousin who lives next to us to come over and spend a few hours fixing it. No fun.

what the crap?

Bug,

That's a name my friend and I made up ca. 1974-ish (in High School). I have no idea why we did it, and I don't know if anyone really has that name. :)

I named my PC Prometheus during my last reinstall of Windows.

That could be the name of a starship. :)

It is.

Watch Stargate SG1 for the reference. I'm positive that's where Mel got it from

Hmmm - I never gave my computer a name. I'll have to think about this one.
