Where can I find a good minuet on the radio? I mean really...All they play for music is either rock or ©rap or talk, etc...

Where can I go to hear a good old fashioned minuet??? :banghead:

OMG!

The funny thing is, we have a theme park here in the neighbourhood which uses this song as the theme songs for the part of the park called the 'fairy-tale forest'. There they have the small mushrooms where this sounds plays out of. :lol:

It's a pretty famous tune.

At every piano recital I have gone to for my daughter at least one kid plays "Minuet in G". It's a real standard because it is probably one of the easiest pieces to play and it is by a master composer.

Agreed. I play it, and I love the piece. For me, the fun is in playing the work a second time through with added ornamentation (mordents, trills, etc.). :yes:

BTW, Bach wrote several pieces similar to this in his Anna Magdalena Notebook. Check them out sometime if you haven't already done so.

Yeah, I do know some composers like Bach, Beethoven, Mozart and Tjaikovski. But most of the pieces they composed I wouldn't recognize even if it hit me in the face. :blush:
