One or two of you, amongst the very kind and numerous welcome party :D asked me to tell you more about myself.

So here are a few snippets...

I'm a guy, 36 yrs old, work as a schoolteacher - I teach Business Studies and Economics. I live in Stockport in the UK, which is nr Manchester. Though I'm originallly from a city called Sunderland - so any pics you see in my signature will correspond to there rather than Stockport (where I've only lived since Sept '06 - I've moved around a lot!). Single, no kids (this isn't a lonelyhearts advert :P just saying before you ask, though you never know... ;) )

There's other stuff in my profile too :)

I'll drink anything but I do like Real Ales.

Don't know if you've heard of any of these, some of them may have been exported. Old Speckled Hen, Timothy Taylor, Pedigree, to name but a few. You might be more familiar with the general European beers though such as Stella Artois, Heineken, Guinness etc.

Some of the beers in your big cities, produced by the micro-breweries, is pretty good - NY and SF.

Stella Artois, Heineken, Guinness i have had and like. Guinness is one of my favorite, as is Bass Ale which is english. i like alot of mirco brew here. molson, Labbats, Busch, coors, Beck's, Groulsh. I really like dark beer's and ale's adn porters, and stout's. but I drink almost anything.

Apparently we look like this now
STC, I have to chuckle every time I see your screen name. When I lived in Florida, there was a comedy punk band called Skurvy the Clown, and they had some T-shirts made that simply said "STC"

EDIT: In fact, that may become your nickname..

Are you ok with that, Skurvy?

A fellow Sagittarius - on the same day!!! Quality!!! :D

Minuet I moderate on another Invision forum. Was just getting a bit bored of chatting to the usual guys every day so I decided to take a wander and look at the Invision list of forums.

I like Star Trek so had a look through those forums. The title 'Sister Trek' just seemed a little more original that the norm. So here I am :)

The name Sistertrek came about because this forum was initially supposted to be for female fans of the show. Somewhere along the way the boys were invited along when a group of us got fed up with the boards at Startrek.com.
