it;s just where i live they chew through the barns, chew the crops, make nests in the engines of the tractors. and cause a lot of problems. thy are almost as bad as a possum, or a woodchuck. and when one it seen you either grab a .22 or let the dog loose. but im sure those rats in the pics are good pets |

Okay here we go once AGAIN: These are WILD rats,WILD rats are completely 100% different from TAME rats, tame rats are considered the best pets and most social ones. WILD rats on the other hand are considered even dangerous, try putting a tame rat and a wild rat together in a cage and see what happens. The tame rat will be killed. Why? Because thats the nature of WILD rats, theyre 100% different than tame rats and dangerous not only to humans but to everyone and they do carry diseases yes. ""Main article: Fancy rat Specially bred rats have been kept as pets at least since the late 19th century. Rats are intelligent animals and can be trained to use a litter box, come when called, and perform a variety of tricks. Pet rats are typically of variants of the species R. Norvegicus, or Brown rat, but Black rats and Giant pouched rats are also known to be kept. Pet rats behave differently than their wild relatives depending on how many generations they have been removed, and when acquired from reliable sources, they do not pose any more health risk than other, more common pets." Source: wikipedia.org Now I would appreciate it very much if you would stop comparing my rats to the wild ones because they are 100% different. The only thing they have incommon is that they look alike. |

I don't really have seen much problems here (yet), except for some remarks of rowskid (no offence against you personnaly rows) which seem to upset some people, me included. Even if he did properly use smiley's to indicate it's a joke, it would have offended me. But that's just me having a problem with guns and hunting in general. |

This is Luthien but im on Sparky's account atm because Im at his place; Oh please....I saw you use smileys in Tangent before and noone made a problem there, here u didnt use smileys so then I assume it is nto a joke to you, especially such a cruel one as u just stated. If you would have used smileys to show it was a joke i wouldnt have made a point of this, but now i have. ~Luthien~ |

I'm telling you row, get some farm cats! Cats will be far more efficient and work as a preventative. |

Ok everyone - stop talking about how to get rid of rats. There is a huge difference between pets and wild animals. The same thing goes for rabbits. Luthien - don't get upset. They are only joking, although I agree it is in bad taste. |
