Well, I'm glad I'm not the only one who doesn't know what a banana hammock is!

whatever you do, DO NOT google the term.
The urban dictionary is offensive.

It is basically a speedo.

I agree with that. Tho I think the names should still be pronounceable, I think I'm never going to get the names of the rats properly pronounced.

Luthien, if you buy tubes and turrets like they sell for hampsters would the rats climb and play in them or would they try to chew out of the plastic?
I always liked building tubes for my hampsters and watching them climb.
Mr brother had a big rat and we used to feed it grass hoppers. it loved them.

I have 2 plastic ferret tunnels in my cage and they only use em to sleep in or play in. (yes mine are veeeeery lazy)

However the hammocks only last that long, they also like to chew on em which means in 6 months or so I need to sew new ones. You can buy em too but making them myself is much cheaper.

As for the banana hammock.....mehh forget it! :rotfl:

They're real sweet and innocent. Real cuties. :)

And in now way meant to be used as snake food or for target practice, I don't find that a good joke at all.
