What's the worst episode of TOS? I vote for Alternative Factor. Still the only episode I haven't watched all the way through. I just can't sit through it. |

Spock's Brain actually, due to it's absurdity it's almost a classic now. Alternative Factor Admittedly, it's tedious. Interesting concept though. Poor production though, maybe the worst. Omega Glory I always thought that ep kind of rocked. C'mon, they had to at least do one "Americana" theme. Piece of the Action Are you kidding? That's in some people's top ten. I never really cared for "Plato's Stepchildren" and "Miri", to be honest. |

Actually, if I ever obtained all the rights to TOS, that ep would quietly dissapear. *Mainframe crash, sorry* |

I've only seen it once. That was enough. I still can't get all the way through Alternative Factor. It's just silly watching a couple guys wrestling in neon blue and dizzying watching the screen turn over and over. Besides, if he's from an anti-matter universe, wouldn't he explode when he came into contact with air?

I voted for The Omega Glory. Quirky episode. It has some good scenes, with the intense acting of Captain Tracy. An episode that brings fascinating imagery to mind.. "..The Yangs must have been warned. They sacrificed hundreds just to draw us into the open. Then they came ..and came.. " Tracy was badly shaken. " We drained three of our four phasers and they still came! We killed thousands and they still came!" -but the melodramatic reading of the Constitution kinda killed it for me. Even if wars are still won this way.. |

I'm with Noah on this. Alternative Factor puts me to sleep. At least I can laugh at Spock's Brain. |

^^^ The only way I could do that would be to make a new rule banning all members whose handle's start with the letter "F" We must have a good and consistent reason to ban people  |

^^^ Agreed. It might almost be worth it, except I would miss Franko's guitar playing.

Fascinating. I find myself flabbergasted. What self-respecting Trek fan can mention a list of the worst of the Original Series without including the monumentally awful episode that stands as the worst in the history of the franchise: 'Turnabout Intruder'. Or, as it is more well-known: 'James T. Kirk- Queen of the Universe'. Watching The Shatner swishing around the ship; Not a single member of the crew realizes that anything is wrong until Spock performs a mind-meld; Spock bringing whatshername in to testify, holding her hand, knowing all the time that it was Kirk's mind in the body, thereby announcing his man-crush on his captain to everyone who could see. Awful, awful, awful. |
