I have a couple of nieces and nephews who absolutely love The Wiggles, and the really little nephew and niece can't get enough of the Boohbahs.

If you spend any time with littlelies ... you know all about them.

This all sounds a bit suspicious to me, why is he saying he is leaving?, why not just say extended break?

Over an ailment undiagnosed by doctors for three months?

Is that the truth or is it something a bit embarrasing?

This Wiggles story is apparently major news here in the US too.

They grossed $39 million last year. :jawdrop:

The group was rated by Business Review Magazine as Australia's top-earning entertainer last year, ahead of actors    Nicole Kidman and Russell Crowe. The four men in brightly colored T-shirts, accompanied by a cast of characters including Dorothy the Dinosaur and Wags the Dog, grossed $39 million last year.

CP - this link explains the condition in more detail. Apparently it is a chronic condition.

Greg is the main man! That won't be good for the rest.

My daughter loves the song, "Dorothy the Dinosaur".

Great, now I'm singing in my head:
"Fruit salad, yummy yummy..."

The Yellow Wiggle, Greg?? He is the anchor of the group. He is the one with the good singing voice. What will I do? Oh well, my kids are about past that.

Agreed, Greg Page is by far the most talented of the group. Talentwise, I can't figure out how Jeff and Anthony belong.

My wife saw them in concert and said that Captain Feathersword was extremely talented as well.

I have one kid who's not there yet so I'm not sure what I'm going to do.

The Wiggles freak me out.

At least the Wiggles are human.

We can't be sure about the Doodlebops or some of the characters from The Higglytown Heroes.

The Doodlebops. Now there's a show I could do without...

And then there's Boobahs...

Higglytown Heroes is ok though.

So - The Wiggles are Australian and The Doodlebops are Canadian (bet you didn't know that)

Why don't Americans have homegrown kids singing groups?

The Boobahs are British - but they don't sing. And thankfully my 5 year old is already too old for that show.

Never heard of her. Seriously

However, I was just joking with my comment. However it does seem that the most succesful groups in that genre have come from outside the US. Do you remember Sharon, Lois and Bram (The Elephant Show). They are Canadian as well. In fact I used to play in an orchestra with Sharon's husband and I have met her many times. Lovely lady.
