me and 12 otyher people at work had the flu. all of us on thanksgiving. Nothing like having it firing out of both ends at the same time. I never get sick ever. but when i do it knocks me on my ass, but i usally recover quickly. which i was better on friday. i never have gottena flu shot and never will. I don't like the idea of it. get a injection that might protect me from somthing I'll probally never get. anyway my little brother had the flu shot, he still got it. |

Sounds like you had the stomach flu rowskid. It's not the same thing and the flu shot will not protect you from illnesses like that. It is meant to protect from influenza which is a serious virus - not a 24 hour bug. |

^^^ Lots of influenza strains start in China - you are probably in a place with a higher chance of getting it. Not less. Need I mention Chicken flu and SARS? |

In Taiwan there hasn't been a case to date. Actually people here are a bit overcautious. Often times people wear a little mask on their face when they are sick to prevent passing it on to anyone else. |
