For me:

Best Movie: Children of Men, by far, but I just realized I only went to the movies about 3 or 4 times this year

Best TV show: Smallville (ROCKS!)

Best Pop Song: That SOS thing by Rhianna probably got stuck in my head the most

Best Rock Song: Alas, another lean year for Rock, probably have to go with 'Love Train' or 'Woman' by Wolfmother

Best Book: Have not read a single piece of fiction this year

A lot of people bagged X Men 3, but I really liked it, the effects particulalry with Kitty Pride and Dark Phoenix were pretty cool

It was nice finally seeing the tigers getting somewhere. adn getting out of the hole they where in.

If the gap was alot short from that series and the world series. they would have won

Don't make me use my bare hands on you.
For those who don't know what to do with the time they have on their hands, read a book. :P

I only saw a couple of movies at the theater this year. The James Bond one and the Kevin Costner Coast Guard Movie. I guess that I would say that I enjoyed the James Bond movie the most of those two.

Don't watch TV

Don't listen to pop

Don't have a clue

I enjoyed the NCAA national title football game this year even though I am neither a Longhorn nor a Trojan fan.

Best book, I have read at least a couple of dozen books that I can remember this year, probably more. The entire Hyperion - Endymion quadrilogy was good. I reccommend that.

Skid,

Yes, I am a Tiger fan, but my favorite team (dating back to ca. 1967) is the BoSox. I remember the 1968 (Tigers vs. Cardinals) series like it was yesterday....
