December 16, 2006...

The posts from this one are lost due to the server crash.

However, this episode is being rerun this weekend. If you are watching for either the first or second time, I'll pin this so you can find it easily to comment on it!

Addendum
I should also point out that from now until the end of the year the episodes will be repeats. Next up are "Devil in the Dark" and "Mirror, Mirror". New remasters begin airing January 6, 2007.

The first time around, I missed the last half of the show. I really wanted to see this one.(It's one of my personal favorites.) I loved the new exterior shots of the Romulan War Bird. The remastered shots of the comet were great. It reminded of that episode of Enterprise(Terra Prime?) when they had to fly in the comet's tail. The Romulan Super weapon looked a lot better than the pinkish ring from the Original Series. I like what they have done in the scenes when the Enterprise is adrift.

I'm gonna' watch it again tomorrow afternoon, my four year wanted all of my attention this evening. Thanks Tivo!

Yeah, the Enterprise adrift looked real good. I'm taping it tonight as well to watch later...

I actually caught this one yesterday!!!!

Looked good. I like that they haven't gotten so into the CGI that they ruin it. It still looks like TOS - just cleaner and a bit more realistic looking (You can't see the strings anymore :P )

Don't make me use my bare hands on you.
I watched balance of terror on a local Saturday night. I didn't realize that it may have been remastered. I recorded it to my computer while I was watching it as I wasn't paying very close attention because I was also playing online poker.

Anyway, perhaps I'll burn a DVD and watch it again to see if it looks remastered.

Come to think of it, the Corbomite Manuever was on last week too. Wish I had recorded it.

Man, they have been running TOS every Saturday night at 11:00PM here. I just watched the remastered Devil in the Dark.

It has me looking forward all week to Star Trek. Man, I really love Star Trek.

Lt Uhura, inform starbase command, in my opinion no option.
On my responsibility, we are proceeding into the neutral zone..

Sorry, I just had to get that out.

Yep, the primary reason I post on this Board. And I've yet to see a remastered episode. Great is just great, no matter how you cut it. :)

I always love that bit where they show the Romulans for the first time. Spock must have thought on seeing the screen. "Good greif that Romulan is the very image of my father!"
