Revisionist shows...

Don't you think that's harsh? If they had did the remake to the T, and it sucked, you would probably be complaining about the unimaginative crap that is coming out of Hollywood.

So they made Starbuck a woman. Big whoop. At least they mixed it up a bit. From the reviews that I have read, it worked. People love the series.

24,

You're not following this series?

I don't get to see every episode and part of me still wishes they had not really tweaked as much with original. Yet, from what I have watched of it I am very impressed with the quality of it and wish that the original had been done half as well.

Lastly to any and all, is it just me or does James Callis (Baltar) remind anyone of Alexander Siddig (DS9's Bashir) in voice and appearnace?

At first yes he did. I've been getting more used to him as time goes on though.

Hmmm. Looks like there may be a reason to watch this one too. :)

[Fesarius wonders about the true sex of Der Swidmeister. An appointment with Cancer Man, with whom the Fesman is meeting tomorrow, should be rather illuminating.]

Avatars are cool. They either say nothing about the poster, or they say something about the poster. Is that ... profound?

I watched the original movie and several of the beginning episodes. I then stopped watching all together. I hear it is good though.

The same thing happened with Stargate Atlantis. I watched the beginning. I was excited about it. Then a couple of episodes in, I tuned it out. I started out watching several series this season and ended up not watching most of them.

I guess I am going through a phase...not a lot on TV interests me anymore. I just burned out on so much. I no longer watch shows that I previously watched and loved for years (Charmed, Stargate SG-1) either.

The only thing that I try to catch regularly is Wildfire, occasionally Related, E-Ring (which is about to be canceled I think :frust: ) and The Amazing Race. I am also checking out “The Unit” on CBS. They better step it up a notch if they want me to continue to watch though.

Hopefully my love for TV will return someday. :(

I was at that point recently (right around when our Dish died). I surfed, and found a lot of garbage. But I do like what Direct has to offer, at least now. :)
