Well, we were fortunate up here in "North to Alaska" to have such a mild winter. I didn't get one igloo built nor could I ice-fish at all. Only had to wear my real winter coat only a couple of times. Hey, I'm starting to like this global warming thing. |

Here the flowers are in full bloom, skies are sunny, and the humidity hasn't set in yet. The "cold" front that came through today will drop overnight temperatures down into the 50s. We'll be camping on Galveston Island tomorrow enjoying a nice, slightly breezy day around 70. |

It seems March had just picked up speed. Already it's the 4th day of March but still no signs of spring. On the bright side the snow had finally stopped and the weather is slowly warming up. Maybe in a few days we might actually see the first robin to appear. It's maybe an old wives tale but I was told that whenver we see the robin appearing, spring is not far behind. How about you? Had you heard of any spring time legends and myths you might be willing to share?

I noticed around 7am it was snowing, then it stopped, then started again, then there was snow/rain mix, then nothing, then snow and then rain. Right now it isn't doing anything. but apparently there is more on the way. |

I think the first signs of spring had finally started to arrive. This morning I saw a new family of birds in my tree in front of my house.
My cat was watching them with somewhat dispassionate interest. Soon it will be time for the gophers to make their suicide run across the highway as we begin spring jokes. What's in your basket? |

Assuming there is such an animal, that is.
Who knows? I may even be able to turn some of the stuff I had accumulated into cash. Now wouldn't that be nice?
