Probably not going hear about this (even in Australian TV news - 7,8,9,10 , Aunti or SBS) , but my neighbourhood had torrential rain and storms overnight so much so that there was local flash flooding. Some houses lost front and back doors and everything inbetween those doors, and there were quite a few fences washed away.

My garage was partially flooded too , but not by the flash flood (we are too high up on our little hill for that) , by run off from the drive way, I was compelled to dig a drainage trench a few inches deep with the mattock to divert run off to prevent further flooding (at 1:30 am) when I put the car in the garage as it was starting to really blow , bucket down (oh boy was it raining) , and there was hail as well.

Looks like we are in for a wet March.

The best part about spring is walking through the orchard as the blossoms pop out...

Walker_Keel,

Thanks.

I got up this morning, and we had a light snow (but with some troublesome ice mixed in). No spring here for a while.

The interesting thing about spring snow is they don't last long. They are very light and fluffy. It doesn't take a lot to melt them.

I need to get my car clean but the current weather conditions made the task nearly impossible. :realmad:

Do you have any suggestions that I might be able to use? :headscratch:

Note - trashing my car is not an option! :P

It does have nuts, although I wouldn't reccomend kicking them ,since it would be painful to you, not the reciever...
