OK, I admit it. I pre-judged Enterprise. I bought the 3rd season last week and am really enjoying it. I especially liked Impulse, which I thought I would hate. There is a rational explanation for the Vulcan zombies, and I expected no less. It was an obvious zombie movie homage, and it was really fun. Especially seeing T'Pol freaking out. Sometimes I think actors who play Vulcans don't get enough credit because most of the time, they have to basically play a robot.
My theory on the Xindi/Romulan/TCW is still valid so far, and I am looking forward to further developing it.
I like the action oriented atmosphere, even though I really thought I would hate it. It gives it a certain edge, a feeling of danger that was somewhat lacking in the first couple seasons. There's also a copious amount of CGI which makes it fun to watch.

D'oh! I'm turning into a Voyager fan!!!! :scared:

:rotfl: Told ya so...

Seriously though, it gets much better towards the end. Keep watching and you will see why I have such a high regard for this season.

Noah,

You like both ENT and VOY now? It won't be long before you are elevated to Presidential status in Oz. :)

Well!, Strike me down with a genetic disorder and call me Shinzon.

Mark this day on your calenders folks, it is a special day.

Co-incidentally I only watched Impulse again yesterday along with Twilight.

I love Impulse possibly Blalocks best performance after Terra Prime.

In the start of ENT, it was shown that T'Pol did think she was better than the humans, I always especially like the eps where she is surprised by the humans or she is vulnerable and the humans save the day for her, of which Impulse falls in the later category.

I admit there are some problems with Season 3, namely neuropressure scenes and 5 Xindi races having evolved on the same planet ( why they just didnt make the XIndi having come from the same sector, not the same planet I will never know).
But every season of Trek has at least a few clangers.

Theres some great stuff in Season 3, wait till you get to Strategem, Chosen Realm and Proving Ground - some powerful eps.

Then theres my favourite of the season - Twilight, which I have watched around 8 times now, a really great alt timeline ep. I found the possibilty of more-than-friends realtionship between Archer and T'Pol far more intrigiung than a Tucker / T'Pol one ever was

It's nice that you like Twilight, since you don't really like timeline episodes.

Enterprise was good, too....a little short....and that whole Xindi thing was UTTERLY exhausting...but it was cool and added some history.

Apparently we look like this now
I honestly dont see what everyone had against Enterprise. Sure, there were some bad episodes, but there were bad episodes in every series. And, there is someone out there who hated an episode that you may have thought was great. We just didnt have message boards to bitch about them in the previous ones.

For the record...Season 3 kicked ass.

82, I agree. I loved the show when it first came out, although I was really disappointed when we found out there was no real plan for the TCW. I was even more disappointed with the 2nd season cliffhanger and 3rd season premire. It was very rushed, and an obvious ploy to use sex and violence to attract new viewers. Looking back, I guess there's nothing wrong with that, the Xindi arc has it's moments, but I was hoping the whole series would be about the founding of the Federation rather than random encounters like every other series (other than DS9).

Probably would have been about that had it gone on for a few more seasons

It might have gone on for a few more seasons if they did that in the first place.

That's probably due to an ongoing problem with the inertial stabilizers and common to the Intrepid-class vessels... :D
