Anyone like Major Hayes here? I watche him die the other night and thought to myself that they shouldn't have killed him off - he was a good character! Did he have a first name? I'll add more in a bit... |

^^^ He got himself a better job on Desperate Housewives. Unfortunately I think he only lasted one year there as well  |

I remember someone on this Board telling me that he was in JAG. I hadn't made that connection! |

Yup, Commander Martin Madden. I don't care if that scene was deleted, i'm taking it as canon because it was such a great scene, very typical of Riker.

Seems like any time Stephen Culp gets a job his character dies... Talk about unfortunate type casting! |

^^^ Did he also die in JAG? If so, that would be amazing. |

^^^ Wow. I think someone may have mentioned that as well. I liked him in JAG, even if he was often a member of PITA.

Major Hayes was something special in ENT. I understood why Reed thought Hayes was trying (at times) to usurp his authority; however, underneath it all Hayes only wanted to do his job to the best of his abilities. Eventually, Reed understood this. |

I thought it was good character development (for both, but moreso for Reed). |
