I had it twice too. :D

Just after I brought the box set from the store, my online order arrived while another email said they had new stiock and inform me to disregard the previous email. This is a strange way to do business IMO. :headscratch: I'm going to return my online order to the store and keep the one I brought. Since this is a long weekend I think I will take the time to review them.

Stay tune. :news:

You could have sold one of those to CP for about $300.00.

I liked both the Xindi arc and the stand-alone episodes from Season Three. I thought some of the best writing of the series was in about six of those episodes.

I had just watched two of the episodes on fast forward. Even after viewing them I still like to know why Admiral Forrest recruited a group of space Marines onboard the ship. I thought the Enterprise was a vessel of exploration, not a war ship. It makes me wonder what if the Xindi attacked Vulcan or Andoria instead of earth? Would it make a difference in the story arc?

Perhaps they did--in an alternate timeline. Think of the possibilities!

Well, if you were sending a ship into hostile territory, and there was a fairly good chance the ship wasn't going to make it, but everything depended on it doing so, wouldn't you pt marines on the ship?

Yes, I would. And that is why Forrest did as well. The Vulcans also had some influence in the decision, albeit indirectly.

Exactly! They were needed! Like Captain Archer said - "The MACO's weapon technology is two, even three years ahead of anything Starfleet has"

They needed any advantage they could use!

Digifan,

Please let us know about the special features, and (at least for me!) the deleted scenes. I treasure those in the Season One set. :)

To be honest Fes, the special features aren't so great in season three. The most interesting thing is a crew profle of Connor Trinneer and behind the scenes with Roxann Dawson while she directed an episode.

The outtakes are in there, but they are not as good as the others in season one & two.

Good point. However it doesn't dismiss the fact that these space marines had the same attitude as the group of fast finger Freddies in "Aliens." Maybe B&B watched this movie before they hatched this story arc? I understand why Trip seems to be on edge and continue to clash with these space cowboys. It's a clear indication Forrest wasn't satisfied with Tucker's training of his security team. IMO instead of packing the MACO on the same vessel they could of performed escort duty on their own ship.

As for your request, Fes, I hadn't started on the special features yet. I did find some of the deleted scenes interesting though but I won't give them away.

Sorry but you must watch and see for yourself. That's your order of the day. :P
