I got good news. I've just received an email from Future Shop that my pre-order of Enterprise DVD season three box set had just been shipped. It will take approximately three business days for it to get here. Had you gotten your set yet?

Note to CP. I look forward to debating its pros and cons with you once I reviewed its contents. Stay tune...

:rotfl: Nah, i'm not a fan of T'pol!

Gimme Janeway any day...

Anyone noticed that they have put the swearing back in? I have heard a few "bastards", "bitches" and once i'm sure I heard Trip say "shit".

It dosen't bother me, it's just a suprise! There are a lot of added scenes that were cut from when they originally aired.

I'm really glad they uncensored these DVDs. I have always thought it was a bit hypocritical for you to see people get shot on TV several times in a day, but nobody can drop an f bomb.
BTW: Anyone seen the uncensored booty shot yet?

Season 3 just came out yesterday here, I might run by Best Buy and pick it up. Still a bit low on fundage though. Maybe I should wait a couple paychecks. Trouble is, I only saw two episodes of season 3, so the wait is killing me!

I saw the uncensored booty shot, slickhead would have been proud!

Funny though, it wasn't censored on UK TV and it was shown at 4pm.

I think the swearing adds to it a little, it's only mild and dosen't happen very often (three or four times a season).

Noah, you won't regret buying it, it is really good, especially towards the end!

No matter what one says about season 3, its one of the best cliffhangers ever.

Whos the alien guy?, is he reman? is he a TCW guy, how does Archer get out of this one?

Highlights of season 3 for me:

Twilight - luv that ep

Azati Prime - why pay to see Phantom Menace at the movies when you can see it for free on TV ;)

North Star - ya better believe it mister, or ya dead where ya stand

Chosen Realm - who says Trek is anti-religion

Impulse - Night of the living Vulcans

Proving Ground - love those Andorians

Zero hour - in the top ten of trek season finales

Actually, I hadn't noticed that it went away. I think it's unnecessary, and IMO it detracts from the show.

Sometimes it does detract from the show, but other times it adds to it. If you got blown up or something could you seriously say you would just shrug it off and say "ah well"?

Besides, Chief O'Brien swore every other week, and he used one of the stronger expletives in one episode. ("Bollocks")

Fes is not trying to win. Fes could care less about that.

Braga talks about why the swearing is in Enterprise in the Season 1 interviews.

He says it's to make the crew more realistic and closer to our era. I don't think it detracts from the show really, but it does make the crew a lot more realistic and seem closer to our time.
I guess it doesn't really bother me. I always thought it was pretty weird that swearing was never allowed on TV anyway.
As Welsby stated, it makes a lot of sense to me that someone would swear getting shot at or getting shot period. I know I would!

I don't think that's really a big deal here. Anyway, should be getting the first 3 discs tomorrow via evil netflix.

I saw Season Three tonight in the store. I was tempted, but not just yet. It will have to wait a bit. I need to get Season Two of Charmed first. ;)
