Lennon and McCartney had no joint philosophy. Only an agreement to put both thier names on songs that either one wrote. I believe it was only at the beginning of thier careers that they actually wrote songs together.

Of course they didn't. BTW, they did write songs jointly later, but not as often.

Fes, I know what I like and what I don't but know almost 0 about music. I would love to have a discussion about Beetles songs by someone who knows something. How about starting a topic?

I think that that is a good idea, but I would rather do it via a PM, if you're really interested. I would be more than willing to do that with you if you like. I'll explain my reasons for that if you wish as well. BTW, someone else can start a topic on that subject if they like.
