In continuing my way through Season 2, I saw this episode last night for the first time in originally aired. I think I was more impressed with it now than I was a few years ago. It provided some great character backstory for T'pol, and I really liked the complexities of Menos and who he was. Something else I've noticed is that it is easier to see characters develop via DVD than it is watching it weekly. I mean some of that character relationship that I remember seeing when I watched the final few episodes of season 4 really started to develop in episodes like these, such as Archer/T'pol.

I did have a question about this episode though. Did the guy who played Menos also play Senator Kelly in the X-men movies. He was really familer.

What did you guys/gals think about this episode.

What got me confused at first was why the episode was entitled "The Seventh?" Then I got into it, watched it. And, after disgesting its content I understood why it bore the title.

It's the seventh episode of the second season and T'Pol's seventh mission for the Vulcan High Command. Mennos was also the seventh fugitive T'Pol was assigned to bring back. The theme of the number seven echoed throughout the episode.

I don't know why it was consider crap by critics. I actually found it quite enjoyable.
