I suspect many found it was more important to stay and work toward helping swing the pendulum back from this radical right wing atmosphere. |

Maybe Canada had something to do with it. I can't image that they would feel all that welcoming of a bunch of disgruntled Americans coming over there dripping with psychoemotional toxins over not getting their guy in office. |

I had my bags all packed, eh, but I had to reconsider. I'm afraid of getting drafted to serve in their war of aggression against the Danes. Hans Island, what a quagmire...

Noah One of the problems with being a republican or a democrat is that half the country becomes your enemy. You almost have to agree with everything and everyone in the party. I think it is better to look at issues. I am glad the energy bill was passed without ANWR. Although I think Social Security needs some work, I am glad the privatization idea was blocked. I do wish a MAJOR effort was being done with the southern border (and we do need to look at the northern border with the way the Canadians have amassed there).

psyfi I only quoted part of the article. The Canadians would be happy to have Americans moving there as would Americans Canadians. |

I thought we had decided it would be re-named Hans Solo Island and the UN would move there and it would be UN territory. On the other hand, the world might then be stuck in a quagmire of a war between all three.

Well then, that's a relief! Perhaps Sistertrek should offer its services as arbitrator? Why not us? *returns to folding longjohns and packing bags* |

Even though politics sucks ass, everything else about this country is something one would be idiotic to pass up.
