Maybe next year he can beat his own record again and take a six week "working" vacation! :wow:

Did you see the movie "Out Foxed"? It makes a pretty convincing case.

It made a convincing case that Fox OPINION SHOWS had bias, not the news.... :rotfl: I wonder if they'll ever do "OutTodayed" or something equally as lame.

I haven't seen anything convincing to that effect.

I do not believe you ever will find something that is convincing in the opposing view point of your own.

Why do you make such as statement as if it does not mean anything? I can simply rebut with “I have” - but in the end both statements are meaningless because unless you prove your case you or I could be lying or just out of our wits.

here is a http://www.polisci.ucla.edu/faculty/grosec...edia.Bias.8.htm good read on the subject.

This is pathetic. Are you just jealous or doing the knee-jerk reaction again? You have been shown what a presidential "vacation" entails, yet you continue this false idea that he's going to lie out in the sun and work on his tan. Geez, get over yourself.

I'm just having some fun AB. You know, the reason we come here? :rotfl:

Relax, why do you care if I criticize the president for taking extended vacations?

Sure I'm jealous! I would love a five week vacation. I could use one right about now. And I assure you, my knee has not jerked at all today. ;)

You ought to learn to argue issues instead of resorting to personal attacks, it makes you look bad. Just some friendly advice. :)

That's not true AB. A large portion of the movie talked about Fox's news broadcasts.

See : http://www.outfoxed.org/Documents.php for additional documentation.

Sounds like a good day for a Presidential vacation.

Well, 14 Marines were killed today by a homemade explosive in Iraq, bringing the death toll above 1800 now.

Don't make me use my bare hands on you.
I modified the topic of this thread to more adaquately reflect the childishnes.. er I mean discussion topic.

That is all.

BTW, I am taking a vacation day next week to go see my brother in Oklahoma. I hope that none of you think the less of me for that. I mean I just took a vacation day last month to relax and help him move all of his furniture from one house to the other.

Administrative Response

Due to an incident in another thread I am reminded that we should not be changing thread titles without the express consent of the topic starter.

That is especially true in the News and Politics forum. Sorry 38957

End Administrative Response

Edit - I was going to change the title back but apparently someone else beat me to it. Thank You.

I object to the changed discussion topic.

To some extent I agree.

Accusing the media of bias in order to avoid discussing an issue is very very weak IMO.

There were much better ways to discuss this issue. For instance simply mentioning that the President of the United States does more work while on vacation then most of us do while at our desks.

I think it was 24thcenstfan who earlier posted a link about the President hosting a dignitary at his ranch while on this so called vacation.
