Interesting post.

BTW, I don't think we were discussing "class warfare".

gvok, I was just making fun of the argument about the size of "the middle class" which is undefinable and uncountable, as everybody has their own definitions, etc. Please don't drag me in too! ;)

No, we are not seeing a shrinking middle class. In fact, according to IRS.gov, we are seeing an EXPANDING middle class. We have been for decades. Just because the rich grow richer does not mean that everyone else does not. In fact, people get rich through work, and move from the middle class to the upper classes, just as the lower classes move to the middle classes.

You want me to believe a so-called non-partisan site founded by lefties and writing leftie dogma... or I could go to IRS.org and see for myself.

Thanks, but I'll stick with the IRS.

Yeah, stuff like this is "non-partisan".

The Bush tax cuts of 2001 and 2003 may have improved the corporate bottom line, but not that of Americans.

(1) Can you provide me with a link to the particular page you are referencing at IRS.org?

(2) Can you specifically refute any fact presented in the article I have posted?

Your article did not present fact at all. IT PRESENTED OPINION.

I think you can link to irs.gov all by yourself. It has quite a competent search function.

(1) There are facts in the article. It is not all opinion. Please answer the question.

(2) So you really don't have a source for your assertion?

(2) So you really don't have a source for your assertion?

I read OPINION from that article, and you of all people know that you can cherrypick facts and reword them to fit your agenda. Also considering the source and the wording used, it was easy to see that this was opinion. There have been other comments not from me on this thread stating the same thing.

I do have an answer to your assertion. I already gave it. I just don't feel like being your maid today. If you are really interested, go and do what I did, surf around the IRS site. I didn't go there looking for that fact, I FOUND it and remembered it while looking for tax information. Understand? Edited for being a personal insult

(1) Your response has answered my question.

(2) I'm doing nothing more than you do on a daily basis.

1) Ah, so you think it is opinion, too. Very good, grasshopper. You're learning.

2) Yes you are doing something I don't do. I stated how I found it, and invited you to do the same. So, go do it. Afraid you'll find something you don't like?

1) No, the fact that you have evaded answering the question is telling.

2) Untrue.
