I never walk outside at night, unless I need something.

I would not even consider walking in my neighborhood at night. The neighborhood has a major coyote problem.

Coyotes are dangerous to people ? I thought they were shy around people .

Unfortunately, some of the boobs in our neighborhood have been feeding them and that can make them quite dangerous to people who they now associate with food. Plus, whether they be shy or not, I don't want to meet two or three of them in the dark.

Yes. I feel safe in my neighborhood and mostly safe in the nearest town and a couple of surrounding towns.

However, if I were to drive further to one of two other neighboring cities, I would have to answer No, depending on the area and/or the city.

Apparently we look like this now
Yes.

I live in a nice quiet neighboorhood next to a golf course. That photo of Data's head at the golf course was taken about 200 yards from my place.

However, we have coyotes too. But, I've never seen them...I've only heard them. I have seen a few foxes though.

Depends.

Most of the time- yes i do, but in recent years I have been on the recieving end of a beating or two that makes me think twice.

Still it dosen't stop me doing it, I am just more cautious.

I feel pretty safe in my neighborhood at night...I live kind of far from the city (5 or so miles).

No, I live in an Orwellian-type evil empire. You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villiany. You must be cautious.

actually, now that I think about it...I voted yes. But which answer did you prefer?

Why is this in Dear Sistertrek? No one is asking for advice.

I will move it to a more appropriate forum.
