Timbo
Lieutenant Commander
The thing that annoyed the HELL out of me when it came to Wesley was pretty simple really.

Say you're a starfleet officer, a Lieutennant or Lieutennant Commander, you've spend the better part of a decade serving as the helmsman on cargo and science ships, working your way up serving on light cruisers, frigates, etc. until you FINALLY get the berth you wanted, the flagship of the fleet...Only to discover some kid, with NO FORMAL STARSHIP OPERATIONS TRAINING WHATSOEVER has been given the responsibility of conn officer. And you, after striving for as long as he has been alive to get the post, have been usurped.

His character was fine. The premise was not.

Dr. Noah
Sistertrek's Asian Correspondant
I liked him better as he grew up and was on the show less and less. ;)

Seriously though, the later Wesley episodes such as First Duty and Journey's End are well done, but the whiney, awkward boy genius of the first few seasons bothered me, it was just so........awkward and whiney, like Luke in a New Hope. But Luke quit whining after he left Tatooine.
