God, no. As often as Time Warner pops offline to either make service upgrades or because of a sector outage, I wouldn't want my long distance service through them. Maybe in five years or so. Local VOIP service is available, offering free unlimited calls (US and Canada) for $40 a month. Voice over IP is about where cable TV was in 1980. It'll need some time and proof of a stable platform before I consider converting. |
