I love the longer hours of daylight. I'm not far enough north for it to still be light at 11:00pm, but it is still a little light at 9:00pm here. That's great for camping here -- still allows enough light for us to pitch the tent on a Friday evening (we don't take off early from work, and it's usually at least a 1- to 2-hour drive to the campgrounds that we prefer) and get settled in. Hope you all had a happy summer solstice. |
